Edit a Portal

In the "Portal details" tab, you can do the following:

1. Change the name for your Portal. The name can consist of maximum 50 characters.

   You can also change the name of the Portal in the Portal designer by clicking on the name in the header.

2. Choose one of the accessibility options for your Portal:
   

• "Public" access: Portals with this kind of accessibility are designed to reach greater audiences and can be visited and shared by anyone who has the link to your Portal.

• "Protected" access: Portals with this kind of accessibility are designed to accommodate protected information that you only want to share with a selected audience. Such Portal can only be accessed by users within your organisation.

All new Portals are built using a default design theme provided by CELUM. If you did not set a custom design theme for your already existing Portal, you can do it here:

1. Click the dropdown menu under the "Design theme" section.
   

2. Select an already created design theme from the list.
   

   You can click the "Preview" button to see the font and typography styling of the design theme before you apply it.

3. Click "Save" to apply the design theme change to your Portal.

You can add managers to your Portal to help you with designing and editing. Managers have the following characteristics:

• All managers have the same permissions inside a Portal.

• They can edit, configure and design the Portal

• They can remove other managers

Invite managers to your Portal

To invite managers:

1. Access the Portal wizard to see the manager panel.

2. Click the "Invite more managers" button on the manager panel. A new dialog opens.
   

3. Type the name or email address of the person you want to invite and select them from the drop-down in the dialog.
   

   You can invite multiple users as managers in this step before continuing.

4. Click "Invite" in the dialog. Avatars representing all invited persons will be shown on the managers panel and the status indicator will show wether the invitation is pending or has been accepted by them.

Remove managerss

1. Access the Portal wizard to see the manager panel.

2. Right click the avatar of the manager you want to remove from the Portal.

3. Select "Remove from Portal" on the context menu.

In the "Libraries" tab you can change the Libraries that are the source of your assets, metadata, and asset formats available through your Portal.

1. (Optional) Click "x" on the chip of a current Library to remove it.

2. Click the "Add Library" button .

3. Choose a new Library from the drop-down.

You are able to manage the custom URL for your already existing Portal here:

1. Click the dropdown menu under the "Domains" section of the Portal details tab.
   

2. Select an already added domain from the list.

   For more information on how to add domains to this list, see Add and manage domains to your Portal.

3. Edit the slug for your Portal that will be displayed at the end of the custom URL. (Optional)
   

   If you change the slug for a published Portal, all previously shared links leading to your Portal will be broken.

Defining a slug can make your URL more userfriendly, because it can provide your URL with an accurate but very short description on what your page is about.


This step is optional, because if you do not define a slug, an ID will be automatically generated instead that will be used as slug.


4. Click "Save"  to apply the custom URL change to your Portal.
