Connect to CELUM Drive

With CELUM Drive, you can synchronise content from any of the CELUM browser applications. To enable synchronisation, you need to log into CELUM Drive with your credentials for the central CELUM Cloud Account.

User account in CELUM Cloud Account required

In order to use CELUM Drive, you need to have your own user account in CELUM Cloud Account. You can register a user account on the CELUM Cloud Account website.

You only need to do this once and can then use your user account to connect to all CELUM services. So, if you already have a user account in CELUM Cloud Account (e.g. for using CELUM Work), you can use it to connect to CELUM Drive as well.

If you want to connect CELUM Drive to a CELUM Content version below release 19.10, you may need to take special precautions when creating your CELUM Cloud Account user. Please contact a CELUM representative in this case.

Step 1: Go to the Cloud account registration page

You have three ways of reaching the registration page for CELUM Cloud Account:

Start the free "Content Collaboration Basic" plan on the CELUM website. Click the get-started button, enter your information in the form that opens, and you will receive a link to the registration page by e-mail.

This option will already provide your own organisation account and unlimited free access to CELUM Work with 2 Workrooms included.

Get invited directly to an organisation in CELUM Cloud Account or to a Workroom in CELUM Work.
Use the "Connect to Cloud account" function in CELUM Content. This will open the CELUM Cloud Account login page.

Additionally, you automatically request access to your company's organisation account when you use this function, which enables you to use the subscribed CELUM services. An organisation manager can then approve your request.

Step 2: Start the registration process

The registration page shows the ways in which you can register a new user account:

Standard registration.
Register with single sign-on (SSO).

SSO is only available if this option is enabled for your organisation and for new users only i.e. the ones without a user account.
Register with a social media account.

Standard registration

Enter your valid e-mail address in the input field and click "Continue".
In the next step, you need to verify your e-mail address in order to proceed. Click "Get verification code".
After the code was sent, you can copy it from the e-mail which you received to the entered address.
Verification code validity
- The verification code is only valid for 5 minutes. If you cannot verify the code within 5 minutes of receiving it, you need to request a new code.
- If you sent multiple verification codes to your e-mail address, be aware that only the newest code which you received is valid.
Insert the code into the verification field and click "Verify code":

If the verification should fail, you will see a notification in the registration form. In this case, simply click "Send new code" to try the verification with a different code.
Once your e-mail address was verified successfully click on "Continue". In the "Create a new user" dialog, enter the rest of your user information and accept the terms and conditions and privacy policy:
Click "Create" to finish the registration. You will be forwarded directly to the CELUM Cloud account home page and are automatically logged in as a new user.
If you have started the free "Content Collaboration Basic" plan, you can now create your own organisation.

Get an organisation account as an existing user

To get your own organisation, you need to subscribe to the free "Content Collaboration Basic" plan for CELUM Work. If you already have a user account in CELUM Cloud Account but have not started the "Basic" plan yet, you can do so by clicking the get-started button on the CELUM website and entering the e-mail address you used for registration in the subsequent form.
Fill in the necessary information and click "Create".
Your organisation is now created. With your new organisation, you will automatically have free access to CELUM Work and can have up to 2 Workrooms in your organisation. Additionally, you can request a different CELUM Work plan and buy other subscriptions.

If something goes wrong during the creation of your organisation, you can finish it later via this banner on the Home page:

Register with single sign-on (SSO)

Enter your company credentials and click "Continue". A new dialog opens:
In the dialog, accept the terms and conditions and privacy policy and click "Create".
You are forwarded directly to the CELUM Cloud account home page and are automatically logged in as a new user.

Register with a social media account

Select one of the social media services.
When prompted, enter your login credentials for the chosen service.
You are redirected back to the registration page. Accept the terms and conditions and privacy policy, and click "Create".
You are forwarded directly to the CELUM Cloud account home page and are automatically logged in as a new user.

Log into CELUM Drive desktop app

Start the CELUM Drive desktop app.
When CELUM Drive desktop app is loaded, click on "Continue". A login page is opened in your preferred browser.
Enter your e-mail address and click "Continue". Then enter your password.

Optionally, you can use log in with a social account or with single-sign on (SSO).
Click "Log in" to confirm. Close the browser window and go back to the CELUM Drive desktop app.

After your initial login, the "Sync" tab is shown with a list of your synchronised repositories and scopes.
