Working with tasks is the centerpiece of CELUM Work. Tasks organise and distribute the responsibilities between the people in a Workroom.
Tasks are organised on task lists on the taskboard of each Workroom. Tasks can have a due date, a responsible person and, most importantly—content.
Tasks and their content are created in 6 different ways:
In the asset explorer: Create a task on an asset directly in the asset explorer. The asset will be attached to the task as task attachment.
Directly on a taskboard: Tasks can be created directly on the taskboard and then the content can be added to them from a variety of sources.
By adding assets from CELUM Content: When adding assets from CELUM Content, it is possible to create a single or multiple tasks. The asset will be attached to the task as task content.
By copying an existing task.
By converting a subtask to a task. In the task details, convert an existing subtask to a task. When converted, you can add content to it.
By creating a review task in CELUM Experience. The task will contain a link to the corresponding Portal. Open the link to start the review process.
Whether you can create tasks on lists depends on:
Your role inside the Workroom. As a moderator or contributor, you don't have any task creation restrictions. As a visitor, you can't create tasks.
If the robot for task creation restriction is set on a list. If this robot is set on a list, task creation is restricted on that list for all people regardless of their role inside a Workroom.
Managing tasks on individual lists can also be restricted by a task list owner robot. If this robot is set on a list, only task list owners can move tasks or move and edit them. If it's not set, then task management is available to all.
You can see all tasks inside your Workroom on the taskboard. Simply click "Tasks" in the navigation bar:
Use the advanced task search to search for tasks and subtasks across all Workrooms you are a part of.
