Add assets to CELUM Content

To add one or multiple assets to CELUM Content as new assets, follow the steps below:

1. Select some assets in the asset explorer and open their context menu.
   

   Alternatively, you can access the  " Add to CELUM Content" options in the magic menu or in the asset detail view via the "More actions" menu and in the task details for attached assets.

2. In the context menu, hover over the " Add to CELUM Content" menu entry:
   

   Single asset selected:

   Multiple assets selected:

3. Click the "as a new asset / as new assets" sub-menu entry (depending on your selection).

4. An "Add to CELUM Content as a new asset" dialog opens.

5. On the left side of the dialog, browse through collection types to see all collections inside. On the right side of the dialog, select a collection where you want to save the new asset(s).

6. Click the Add button.

7. The current version of each asset is added as a new asset to CELUM Content. You can see the new asset(s) in the CELUM Content asset list if you select the target collection. The asset will have an "Available in CELUM Content" symbol in the lower right corner.

8. A status snackbar appears to let you know whether adding has successfully been completed.

You can add one or multiple assets as a new version of a CELUM Content asset. Simply follow the steps below:

1. Select one or multiple assets in the asset explorer and open their context menu.
   

   Alternatively, you can access the  " Add to CELUM Content" options in the magic menu or in the asset detail view via the "More actions" menu and in the task details for attached assets.

2. In the context menu, hover over the " Add to CELUM Content" menu entry:

   Single asset selected:

   Multiple assets selected:

3. Depending on your current asset selection, choose between the following sub-menu entries:

• as a new version: Add the asset to CELUM Content as a new version of an asset of your choice.
  

  This option is only available if you've selected a single asset. It's not visible for multi-selection.

• as a new version of the added asset(s): Add previously added assets(s) as new versions of their original assets in CELUM Content. Such assets have a "Available in CELUM Content" symbol in the lower right corner.

4. Add to CELUM Content based on your choice:

• If you chose to add as a new version, an "Add to CELUM Content as a new version" dialog opens.

1. On the left side of the dialog, browse through collections to see all assets inside.

   Alternatively, you can activate the option "Show content of child nodes" to show all assets on any level under the currently selected collection or collection type.

2. On the right side of the dialog, select an asset to export to.

   Use the search bar in the upper right corner of the dialog to search for assets inside the currently selected collection or structure.

3. Click the "Add" button.

4. The asset's current version is added to the selected asset in CELUM Content as a new asset version.

• If you chose to add as a new version of the added asset, each selected asset's current version is automatically added to the corresponding asset in CELUM Content as a new asset version.

5. A status snackbar appears to let you know whether the export was successful.

Some added assets will have an "Available in CELUM Content" symbol in the lower right corner. This means that the asset has been linked to an asset in CELUM Content. If the asset is permanently deleted i.e. removed from the trash bin in CELUM Content, the symbol on the asset will be grayed out and the status will be "No longer available in CELUM Content".
