There are 2 different states for Libraries:
Active (marked with active icon ).
Inactive (marked with inactive icon ).
As the Library owner you are able to change the states of a Library.
"Active" Library state specifics:
Can be used by CELUM Experience features such as Portals.
Can be edited and deactivated by the Library owner.
An active Library's content can be available in CELUM Experience features such as CELUM Portals.
To activate a Library:
Right-click an inactive Library on the dashboard to open the context menu.
Click "Activate" in the context menu.
A confirmation dialog shows you the effects of reactivating the Library:
The Library will be available for updates.
All previous settings will be restored.
Click "Activate".
The reactivated Library is listed at the top of the page.
"Inactive" Library state specifics:
Cannot be used by CELUM Experience features such as Portals.
Cannot be edited by the Library owner.
An inactive Library's content is not available in a published Portal connected to it.
Does not import new assets from CELUM Content.
Can be reactivated or deleted by the Library owner.
To deactivate a Library:
A Library will automatically be deactivated if the Library owner is deleted from the organisation.
Find the "Deactivate" action:
On the dashboard: Right-click an active Library to open the context menu and click on "Deactivate".
In the magic menu: Open the magic menu in the Library preview page and click on "Deactivate Library".
A confirmation dialog opens, explaining the effects of deactivating the Library:
The Library will no longer be accessible or updated.
The Library, assets and data will be removed from the connected Portals.
All applied settings are still available.
The Library can be activated again if needed.
Click "Deactivate".
The deactivated Library is listed under the last active Library on the page.
