The destination is the place into which your assets will be exported. For the YouTube Exporter, the destination is a YouTube channel.
Create destinations in the Content administration's "YouTube Exporter" tab:
Open the "Destinations" tab.
Click the "Create new destination" button to open
the configuration dialog:
In the "Destination details" section of the configuration dialog, define the settings for the destination:
Give your destination a name.
The name needs to be unique, there cannot be multiple destinations with the same name.
Select an existing Google authentication profile.
At least 1 Google authentication profile must be configured in the Configuration Management Application (CMA), otherwise you cannot continue. To create a Google authentication profile, follow the instructions in the "Preparing the YouTube Exporter" Customer Knowledge Base article.
In the "Video details" section, set the mandatory details for the published videos on YouTube. The fields appear one by one and are based on your selection in each previous field.
CELUM Content field values are mapped onto fields in the destination
For every field, the value of a chosen information field in CELUM Content is mapped onto the respective field in the destination platform. In YouTube, for example, the video detail fields are filled. Thus, every published video retains the field value of its asset in CELUM Content.
In the "Channel ID" field, insert the ID of the channel to which you want to publish. Ideally, you already retrieved this ID during the preparation of the YouTube Exporter.
You can find instructions on how to find out the YouTube channel ID in the "Preparing the YouTube Exporter" Customer Knowledge Base article.
In the "Region" field, select a region for which you have imported categories.
In the "Category" field, select one of the category collections that were created during the category import.
Optionally click the "Add detail" button to add more video details that you want to set for the published videos on YouTube. The selected details are added to the configuration dialog.
You can also add a template for the published videos' embed snippets. Refer to the FAQ below to see how it's done.
For each video detail, you can either manually enter a fixed value or select an information field in CELUM Content whose value will be mapped onto the video detail field.
The values of the video details onto which the information field values will be mapped, differ for each published video and depend on the field values of the respective asset in CELUM Content.
Additionally, you can specify further configuration properties as key-value-pairs in the "Advanced configuration" field. The key-value-pairs must look as follows:
propertyKey1=propertyValue1
propertyKey2=propertyValue2
In this field, you can enter configurations that are not covered by any of the other fields in the configuration dialog. For more information on all available configuration properties, see the Locators chapter and its sub-chapters in the Customer Knowledge Base.
Click "Create".
The configuration dialog closes, and the new destination is listed on the "Destinations" tab.
