Automatic
sync: This means that, once set, your repositories,
scopes, and assets will be synced periodically at a chosen
time interval. By default, the Drive sync
is set to automatic syncing at 10-minute intervals.
However, you can adjust the sync intervals yourself.
On-demand sync: This means
that your objects will only be synced once you click the "Sync
now" button.
Regardless of your sync mode, you can always sync manually via the
"Sync now" button.
If you'd like to pause a scope
sync, you can do that via the scope's context menu.
You can temporarily pause the synchronisation of a scope via its
context menu:
Go to the "Sync" tab.
Open the context menu
for a scope
and click the menu entry "Pause scope
sync".
A status message is displayed below the scope's
name and no changes in the scope
(either in the connected repository
or within the local file system) are synchronised anymore. The
paused scope's
folder in your local file system does not get deleted.
All changes which you make to the scope's
content while it is paused will be resolved after you resume the
synchronisation.
To resume the synchronisation of a paused scope,
open the scope's
context menu again
and click "Resume scope
sync".
